G7th: Driving the Future of Capos
After 21 years of setting the standard for premium guitar capos, G7th is entering an exciting new chapter. With the retirement of Managing Director Noel Sheehan, leadership now transitions to Iain Wilson (Sales & Marketing Director) and Simon Campling (Operations Director), following a smooth and successful handover.
“We are grateful for the way Noel set up the company back in 2004, as it has allowed us to be agile and make critical business decisions very quickly. It’s been a challenging year for the musical instrument industry—accessories included—but the choices we’ve made have cleared the way for us to maintain our strong market position and cement ourselves as The Future of Capos.”
— Simon Campling
“Our priority remains helping dealers succeed with strong margins, reliable supply, and innovative products that keep players coming back. We will continue working with our existing partners to drive YOUR sales so you can make an outstanding return on investment with G7th.”
— Iain Wilson
In addition, Nick Campling, G7th Chairman (and Simon’s father), has also effectively retired from daily operations. He will remain Chairman and serve as a consultant on future development projects—because, as he admits, he enjoys staying too busy to entirely step away.

About G7th, The Capo Company
Since 2004, G7th has been changing the way guitarists have looked at capos. We work hard to continually improve our designs and make our capos even better, to give guitarists the greatest possible, distraction-free, capo experience. The award-winning original Performance capo won acclaim from guitarists worldwide for its unique Tension Control system; now the Heritage and Performance 3 capos are turning more heads thanks to our patented Adaptive Radius TechnologyTM (ART®), which offers unrivalled tuning stability by mechanically adapting to match the curvature over the strings (radius) on any guitar. With ART®, one capo delivers complete confidence that there will be no string buzz or need for constant retuning.
That’s why we say – G7th is The Future of CaposTM.
