Gibson x Loog Announce New Collection of Electric Guitars for Children
The iconic global music brand Gibson® and the award-winning children’s guitar brand Loog® proudly announce the launch of the Gibson x Loog collection: a line of four small, three-string electric guitars inspired by the legendary Gibson Les Paul and SG, which have provided the soundtrack to our lives for more than seven decades in the hands of countless music legends.
Developed to make learning guitar fun, easy, and accessible, the Gibson x Loog guitars bring Loog’s beginner-friendly three-string format to iconic Gibson designs. These instruments, specifically designed for kids, are small in size yet powerful in sound, without compromising on quality or style.
All models are available globally now for $229, on www.loogguitars.com, www.gibson.com, and via select retailers worldwide.
The guitars are half-scale, three-string versions of the most iconic Gibson electric guitar models, tailored for children but crafted with real guitar components and stage-worthy finishes. The three-string setup simplifies chords, allowing kids to play songs on day one and build confidence fast. Each guitar comes with Loog’s signature learning tools, including flashcards, an app with video lessons, and a Gibson x Loog activity book.
“Getting to collaborate with Gibson has been such an incredible experience and honor for us,” says Rafael Atijas, Founder and CEO of Loog Guitars. “These are the guitars we all drool over—the Les Paul, the SG—and now we’ve had the chance to work with the Gibson team to bring them to life in a way that’s approachable and inspiring for kids. It’s been a pleasure, a joy, and honestly, a real privilege.”
“One of the things I’m most excited about is the Gibson x Loog activity book that comes with every guitar,” Atijas adds. “To think that, thanks to it, a six-year-old will be able to differentiate between Gibson models, learn the story behind the Les Paul, know what a TV Yellow finish is, and even recognize a Gibson headstock from a mile away… how cool is that!?”
“We are very proud and excited about our collaboration with Loog, which lets us introduce the next generation to the world of Gibson in a fun, accessible way,” says Mat Koehler, Vice President of Product at Gibson. “The Gibson x Loog guitars utilize our iconic colors and shapes with Loog’s intuitive three-string format to inspire young players to begin their musical journeys.
