Guitars & Line 6 – Technical Sales Pro Music Division
Yamaha Music is looking to employ an experienced field based technical sales professional. You will have the ability to discuss, present, train and demonstrate the full catalogue of Yamaha and Line 6 Guitars, Amps and Effects.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop both strong technical and commercial relationships within a broad spectrum of roles operating within our MI dealer network. This will include sales staff, buyers, marketing and media departments.
As our specialist you will be the ‘go to’ person for all technical aspects of Yamaha Guitars and Line 6. Your presentation & musical skills will put you at the forefront of Yamaha, marketing to both MI industry & professional musicians whilst representing the brand to the highest standards of knowledge and musicianship.
You will be working nationally both independently and alongside our team of Sales Representatives with clear commercial objectives and budgets to achieve.
To be considered for this role you should:
- Have a deep understanding of guitars, digital effects and amplification along with strong commercial drive & experience
- Be someone who is seeking to develop a career that to date has been predominantly technical & musical, but can now also develop a commercial awareness of products, USP’s and product placement in the marketplace.
- Be someone with a high level of presentational skills, comfortable in front of the camera and be able to create engaging consumer content
You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels in a confident and knowledgeable manner and be able to deliver concise and coherent business strategies. You should also be computer literate and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and key Social Media channels.
A flexible attitude and a full driving licence are essential as regular UK travel within the region is a requirement of this role.
