Hagstrom Unveils the New Krona Series

Hagstrom Guitars proudly announces the launch of the new Krona Series, a striking line of modern single‑cut electric guitars crafted for players seeking power, clarity and unmistakable rock attitude.

Designed with a sculpted top and bold contemporary styling, the Krona introduces a fresh silhouette to the Hagstrom family, while retaining their reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and tonal versatility.

The Krona’s voice is built on a resonant combination of a mahogany body, Canadian maple top, and a Canadian maple neck joined using a traditional mortise‑and‑tenon construction. This foundation delivers warmth, punch, and long, singing sustain – making it an ideal platform for rock, metal, and modern alternative styles.

At the centre of the Krona’s sound are two newly developed Hagstrom humbucking pickups:

  • Agent‑X Neck Pickup – engineered for articulate detail and clarity
  • Penetrator Bridge Pickup – delivering high‑output aggression, bite, and harmonic depth

Both pickups use AlNiCo 5 magnets, and each tone control features push/pull coil‑splitting, offering immediate access to crisp single‑coil textures.

The Krona is packed with premium performance features, including: Flame maple top, GraphTech Tusq XL nut, Machined steel bridge, Locking Hagstrom tuners, and will be available in three finishes: Burnt Blood, Burnt Charcoal, and Satin Black.

Alongside the standard model, Hagstrom also introduces the Krona 7, a seven‑string variant designed for modern extended‑range players. It features the same tonewood recipe and build quality, with pickups specifically voiced for seven‑string clarity and punch.

The Krona 7 is also offered in Burnt Blood, Burnt Charcoal, and Satin Black finishes.
