Legendary Drummer Thomas Lang to Open DW London
Drum Workshop, Inc. (DW) is delighted to announce legendary drummer Thomas Lang will be live at the launch of DW London on Thursday 19 March 2026 from 18:00 to 21:00. Entry is FREE.
Drumming icon Thomas Lang is distinguished by his spectacular technique, multi-faceted musicianship and significant work as an educator. He has played pop with Robbie Williams, Westlife, and George Michael, rock with Tina Turner and Glenn Hughes, prog rock with Robert Fripp and Asia’s John Wetton, and many, many more. His ability to play everything from pop and rock to jazz fusion and metal has ensured his place as a session drummer for almost any musical context.
The first ever dedicated DW showroom in the UK is at the Roland Store London, Denmark Street. It will be home to the largest selection of DW Drums in the city, including Slingerland and PDP. It has been designed for drummers seeking a personal understanding of the complete DW family of shell configurations, wood types, finishes, hardware options, and setup considerations. The showroom is destined to become a UK centre of excellence for DW, reinforcing why DW is The Drummer’s Choice. Professional and semi-professional drummers, serious enthusiasts, studio owners, educators, collectors and international visitors are all welcome, and on the evening of this event, staff will be on hand to offer one-on-one tours of the showroom.
