MortalCoil offers 3 distinctive voices, instantly switchable via the included push/pull pots – without any jump in volume!
- Voice 1: Modern Active Power – Tight, clear, aggressive, modern metal tone with fast, controlled attack. Ideal for high‑gain rhythm, articulate leads, and precision playing.
- Voice 2: Classic Passive Punch – Warm, dynamic, and expressive. The tone and feel of a traditional JB/Jazz humbucker, but with the consistency and quiet operation of an active design.
- Voice 3: Bright, Open Clarity – A cleaner, more articulate single coil voice with plenty of output and enhanced top‑end detail. Perfect for cleans, edge‑of‑breakup tones and layered production.
