Peavey invective™ MH Mini Amp Head Lands in the UK

Peavey UK are delighted to announce the immediate availability of the invective MH Mini Amp in the UK & Ireland.

Following the success of the 120 Watt invective.120 and continuing Peavey’s collaboration with Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor, the invective MH amplifier packs all of the best tones from its big brother into a portable 20 Watt mini head format.

At the heart of this little high-gain monster is a pair of EL84 power tubes shaped by three 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes, providing everything from pristine cleans to the infinitely chunky gated djent destruction. The best-in-class clean channel is the perfect launchpad for any pedal-generated sound and the high-gain channel is based on the legendary Peavey 6505 – known as the amp that created today’s hard rock sound.

The invective MH is graced with a wealth of features and tone shaping options. The onboard T.S.I. (Tube Status Indication) circuit helps users diagnose any problems with their power tubes. Additionally, foot switches allow the invective MH to engage or disengage the Tight voicing and any combination of Gate and Boost on the Lead channel, respectively. There’s also an independently foot-switchable buffered effects loop.

On the clean channel, adaptive low and high EQ help find the sweet spot with ease. The lead channel provides a three-band EQ and Master Resonance and Master Presence pots help shape the tone even further. In addition to its new sounds, the invective MH has all of the recording hooks and flexibility of other Peavey Mini Head amplifiers, including MSDI (Microphone Simulated Direct Interface) Output with XLR and ground lift switch, speaker-simulated USB, speaker defeat switch, headphone out, and more. Dual quarter-inch TRS footswitch jacks allow for ease of MIDI control.

As with all Peavey MH amps, players benefit from onboard switchable power attenuation between 20W, 5W or 1W outputs to suit a range of playing requirements and live, studio and home environments.

Weighing in at only 7.5kg and measuring approximately 35cm wide and 19cm tall, it’s the most portable, lightweight and versatile high-performance amplifier for guitarists seeking pedalboard-friendly and pristine cleans, legendary gain and an abundance of features.

Retailing for £769.00, the Peavey invective MH is available to order now exclusively through UK distributors Barnes & Mullins. www.bandm.co.uk
