Acus Sound Engineering Update Acoustic Combos One for Strings 6T & 8T
Italian manufacturer, Acus Sound Engineering have announced upgrades to their popular One for Strings 6T and 8T series.
The One for Strings 6T MK2 is a 130-watt acoustic combo. Equipped with 3 inputs (Two Mic-Line and one Line) with digital FX and controls for Gain, 3-Band EQ, Effect Send, Volume.
The Master Section features Direct Out (XLR) output, RCA stereo Input and RCA stereo Output. Stereo volume IN, stereo volume OUT, PHANTOM power switch, effect RETURN, and MASTER volume.
The updated features include:
- An upgraded internal amplifier.
- The removal of the fin-style heatsink at the rear.
The One for Strings 8T MK2 is a 200-watt combo amplifier. Equipped with 4 inputs (Two Mic-Line, 1 Line) with 4 digital FX. Controls for Gain, 4-Band EQ and 1 Aux In with 2-Band EQ and volume control.
The Master Section features Direct Out (XLR) output , volume OUT, PHANTOM power switch, HEADPHONE socket with volume control, +9V for channel 3, -10dB switch for reducing the output on the DI, RESONANCE Feedback Eliminator, FOOTSWITCH control for FX, effect RETURN, and MASTER volume.
The updated features include:
- An improved mixer section, which includes an added effect footswitch,
- -10dB out attenuation switch to lower the output volume for the DI Out.
- 9V power supply on channel 3 to power condenser microphones,
- New DSP’s: 2 Reverb, 1 Delay, 1 Chorus with control.
- Inclusion of an FX Send/Return function.
- The removal of the fin-style heatsink at the rear.
Both models are available in Wood, White and Black finish options. Enclosed in Birch Plywood and have a speaker stand mounts underneath.

The SIMON series features a kickback monitor option available on the One for Strings 5T, 6T and 8T.
