Hagstrom recently added a Wild Cherry Transparent finish option to their Alvar model for left-handed players.
The Hagstrom Alvar is the smaller brother to the popular Hagstrom semi-acoustic Viking model, and is available in Swedish Frost, Black & Wild Cherry Transparent for right-handed players, and for left handers is available in Swedish Frost and now Wild Cherry Transparent as well.
This semi-hollow bodied instrument in its “petite” body size, is a perfect match for players searching for a semi-hollow in a smaller, more compact form. While it shares many elements of its larger bodied Viking sibling, the Alvar is a reigning force despite its diminutive proportions and elements.
