Pioneer DJ adds new mixer and controller
Pioneer DJ has added a two channel mixer that offers a new entry point to the Serato specified DJM series: the DJM-S3. The DJM-S3 is Serato DJ and DVS Enabled thanks to its built-in sound card inherited from the professional DJM-S9, so users can plug it into a PC/Mac and start using it with Serato DJ straight out of the box.
Simultaneously, the company has upgraded one of its Serato DJ controllers to create the two channel DDJ-SR2. DJs can use the new dedicated controls to get hands on with the latest features in Serato DJ, including the Pitch ‘n Time DJ Expansion Pack, with Key Shift, Key Sync and Pitch Play controls. The lightweight and portable DDJ-SR2 is Serato DVS Upgrade Ready (licence available separately).
The DDJ-SR2 inherits design traits and features from Pioneer’s professional DJ gear, including multicoloured Performance Pads that give users instant feedback on pad modes and playing statuses. The Serato DJ Enabled DDJ-SR2 comes bundled with the Pitch ‘n Time DJ Expansion Pack.
