TC offers vocal sample synthesis in a box
TC Helicon’s new PERFORM-VE introduces Vocal Sample Synthesis in a highly portable box that lets users instantly sample voices and play the result on a keyboard. The PERFORM-VE offers a host of features including real time pitch flattening and extreme sample manipulation in addition to more familiar effects such as filtering and looping.
Billed as a ‘revolutionary Vocal Manipulator with MIDI-Pitch-Controlled Sampling, Vocal Synth and One-Button Drum Looper,’ it will be available by the end of June and will carry a US price of $399.99. The UK price has yet to be announced.
