The UK Show Manchester – all sold out!

Manchester’s The UK Drum Show has completely sold out of exhibition space, reports the organiser, Gold Media and Events Ltd. The last booth at the show (taking place at Manchester Central on 23rd and 24th September) has been taken by , which will be showing, among other products from its extensive range, ‘the ultimate cameras for musicians’. Zoom will be joining over 100 other brands of drum and percussion products for what promises to be a packed weekend.

Neil Golding, who was responsible for the launch of the London Drum Show for Oyster House, prior to its sale to Blaze Publishing and, later, Future Publishing, says the unprecedented success of the UK Drum show (the first UK drum show to have sold out of space) has been made possible thanks to the overwhelming support from the drum trade. ‘Relationships with the trade are the single most important thing. Without exhibitors, you simply don’t have a show, and I thank the drum and percussion trade for their unequivocal support that they have shown from the very beginning

‘When the show was announced in November last year, we never thought we would have had such great support that would have led to selling out three months before the event. Consideration for expansion is already being discussed for 2018 as we don’t want to turn anyone away for next year. Artists and features for 2018 are already being suggested.

‘Advance tickets are on sale until the Friday before the show and sales are going well, with various planned activity appearing throughout our marketing calendar.’
