Xvive Completes 5.8 GHz Wireless Series for Dynamic Microphones and IEMs
Two weeks ago, Xvive launched 5.8 GHz versions of their popular wireless systems for dynamic microphones and in-ear monitors, and are now completing those series by offering a full range of variations to suit any live or studio application.
For the U35 Microphone Wireless series, in addition to the standard set, now available are the U35T Transmitter, U35R Receiver, and U35 Dual Wireless System for Audio, which consists of two U35 sets and can be used to make PA and DJ systems wireless.
The U45 In-Ear Monitor Wireless series is now completed with the U45T Transmitter, U45R Receiver, U45R2 system with two Receivers, U45R4 system with four Receivers, and U45T9—a U45 set paired with Xvive T9 In-Ear Monitors.
Whereas the U3 and U4 series broadcast their signals on the 2.4 GHz wirelss band, the U35 and U45 series operate on the 5.8 GHz frequency, which is less crowded and therefore less likely to cause signal interference issues. In addition, these 5.8 GHz systems feature True Diversity receviers that can scan the available six wireless channels and automatically select the strongest. They also offer up to 100 feet (30.48 m) of wireless range. The 24-bit / 48 kHz audio is crystal-clear, with a wide frequency response and dynamic range, very low latency and very low noise. The units run on internal rechargeable lithium-on batteries that last for 5 hours and charge in 2.5 hours.
US MAP pricing is as follows (in USD):
U35T – $129.99, U35R- $129.99, U35D – $439.99
U45T – $149.99, U45R – $149.99, U45R2 – $399.99, U45R4 – $649.99, U45T9 – $459.99
