Yamaha promotes at Cheltenham Jazz Fest
Yamaha is creating the Yamaha Discovery Space at May’s Cheltenham Jazz Festival (2nd-5th May) describing it as ‘a uniquely interactive and exciting addition to this year’s festival that sees the two organisations providing inspiring ways for anybody to be introduced to music making in a fun and highly entertaining way’.
Aimed at all ages and backgrounds, the Yamaha Discovery Space features a Giant Floor Piano, Silent Piano concerts, have a go opportunities for the piano, and a vast range of Brass and Woodwind instruments. There’s even a chance to show-off Chromatic piano skills with the ‘Fastest Fingers Competition ‘ where visitors can win £250 worth of Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2019 vouchers.
The ‘Discovery’ exhibition area will allow visitors to try a wide range of instruments of all types and get valuable advice from Yamaha instrument specialists.
Festivals Director Ian George said: ‘Cheltenham Jazz Festival is on a mission to bring jazz to everyone, whatever their age or background. We are delighted to work with Yamaha to give our Festival-goers the opportunity to get up close and hands-on with one of the world’s leading musical instrument brands and enjoy making music.’
The five day event takes place between 2nd and 5th May.
