Ditto X4 sync with other gear
Hi there! Presently my live setup contain macbook with ableton on it connected to NI Rig Kontrol 3 audioinerface (2 chanals).
I put in audio chanal 1 Korg Volca beats and connect Volca with midi cable from Volca midi in to MicroKorg midi thru. So MicroKorg connected to second chanal on Rig Kontrol and MicroKorg`s midi in/out connected to midi in/out on Rig Kontrol accardingly. For now everythings work great and all gears are synced. Ableton is master clock and if I change BPM while plaing, Korgs changed their bpm accordingly. But I feel that 2 channels card is not enough for me. I am planing to get 4 inputs auduounit.
So question is is it possible to sync everything?
My plan is to connect volca beat midi in to Ditto midi thru, then rout Ditto`s midi in to MicroKorg midi thru and then MicroKorg`s midi in/out to Rig Kontrol midi in/out. After that connect guitar to looper and looper output to 3d channel on sound card, create midi channel in Live and make on this channel external instrument.
I know it`s kind diffucult do discribe)
But is my plan possible? Will be my idea works as my setup works right now?
Will Ditto sync loops and receive midi clock from ableton master clock as MicroKorg and Volca received it know?
