wah wah

OK Folks.
I originally wanted to just have a working wah wah pedal
i.e. everything running as per normal in PLAY mode (with no extra switches used) and the wah wah pedal always there ready in “auto on” mode so it came on when I moved it and went off again when I didn’t use it.
I have given up on this idea as I can’t get it to work.
At this point I am willing to sacrifice a switch / button.
i.e. everything running as per normal in PLAY mode, press switch#2 (in toggle mode), wah wah comes on (with all the currently playing sounds) then goes off again when I push it again.
Anyone got any ideas on how to do this ?
