I thought my Bongo broke.

Ever since I got my 30 Anniversary SR5, I haven’t put it down. I absolutely love that bass. Well, I felt I need to go through my stable of EBMM basses and give them some love too. I played and then cleaned all of them and then came to my favorite Bongo, my BFR roasted neck. That was the first Bongo I ordered and I will never get rid of it. I plugged it in and got nothing. This bass has always been reliable. I swapped out cables thinking maybe the one I had been using somehow got a short. Still nothing. I then checked the battery compartments and both batteries were gone. A few months back, I went through all of my basses with active pickups and put new batteries in all of them regardless of if they needed it or not. Apparently, I forgot to replace the batteries in the BFR. Oops. Easy fix though and I was very much relieved that is all that it was.
