Catalinbread launches the Gallery Series with custom art Naga Viper
Catalinbread Effects has launched the Gallery Series, featuring custom art editions of the brand’s pedals. According to the brand, most of the series will also allocate a portion of its profits to a charity, chosen by the artist.
The series kicks off with a limited edition Naga Viper treble booster, featuring custom artwork from artist Colin Shawcross. The pedal sees 10 per cent of its proceeds donated to Shriners Hospitals For Children in Florida, United States.
The Naga Viper takes inspiration from the revered Dallas Rangemaster, which has been favoured by artists from the likes of Tony Iommi, Brian May and Marc Bolan.
Catalinbread’s take on the original single-knob pedal adds two additional control pots: Range and Heat. The former lets players adjust the boost’s range from treble-focused to full-range, while the latter offers control over the gain level.
Additionally, each purchase comes with a matching t-shirt, a drawstring bag and some stickers. The pedal also comes in two different enclosures, neon yellow and black (available only through Catalinbread’s Reverb.com store)

Earlier this May, the Portland-based device makers also unleashed a ferocious new fuzz pedal creation dubbed the Giygas. It was inspired by the antagonist of the Super Nintendo classic, Earthbound.
