Circle Jerks celebrate 40th anniversary by teasing 2020 reunion
LA-based punk band Circle Jerks have teased a 40th anniversary to celebrate their seminal 1980 album Group Sex.
The band will perform their first performance since 2011 at the Las Vegas Punk Rock Bowling music festival on the weekend of May 21st, 2020. More shows are expected to be announced for the remainder of the year.
The band went on hiatus in 2011, with Morris forming the acclaimed punk band Off! in the process. Earlier this year, that band launched a Kickstarter to fund their upcoming new album/documentary Watermelon.
Keith Morris also released his punk rock memoir back in 2016, titled My Damage: The Story of a Punk Rock Survivor, it was a look back at his career as the frontman of Black Flag, Circle Jerks and Off!
