D’Angelico announces the Deluxe 175 Limited Edition
D’Angelico has announced the Deluxe 175 Limited Edition, a premium single-cut fully-hollow electric.
The guitar’s distinct look is complemented by a distinct set of electrics. It’s loaded with two TV Jones DA-Tron humbuckers, each of which can be coil split with a push-pull tone knob. This means the guitar can range anywhere from punchy rock n’ roll and rockabilly to gentle jazz tones. A D’Angelico Shield tremolo unit allows for some subtle wobble, too. Tuning stability is helped along with a Tusq nut and Grover Super Rotomatic locking tuners.
While it’s a regular full-hollow guitar, it features a slim neck profile for easy playability. Topping this neck is an ebony fretboard with 22 frets. The body’s top, back and sides are made from laminated maple, and the guitar features 5-ply binding for an ultra-premium look.
The Deluxe 175 LE comes in three finishes: Matte Charcoal, Matte Walnut and Matte Surf Green, all with gold hardware. Only 50 have been made of each version. You can hear how the guitar sounds with D’Angelico’s demo video below.
The Deluxe 175 lists for $1999.99. Find out more at dangelicoguitars.com. For more music news, click here.
