Five guitar tracks to rock out to this week

Five guitar tracks to rock out to this week

Feel like you’ve missed out on the week’s biggest releases? No worries, we’ve got you covered with a list of the best and latest rock songs. Here are five that you have to hear:
Exits by Foals
Exits is the long-awaited comeback from Foals, off their upcoming album Everything Not Saved Will be Lost – Part 1. The LP, due out 8 March, will be the rockers’ first in four years. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait that long for their next release, as the second part is scheduled for autumn.
Malibu by Sharon Van Etten

Sharon Van Etten’s Remind Me Tomorrow is another great release from the singer-songwriter. And the synth-filled cut Malibu might just be the LP’s best song, with Van Etten’s layered vocals lending the track an intense, sombre vibe.
Uncomfortably Numb by American Football, Hayley Williams

Hayley Williams joins American Football for the second single off the emo rockers’ forthcoming third self-titled album. In Uncomfortably Numb, lead singer Mike Kinsella and the Paramore frontwoman link up well to provide the track with a beautiful vocal arrangement. Their upcoming album will also feature other guest vocalists, a first for the band.
Timebomb by Walk the Moon

Walk the Moon have released the non-album single Timebomb. The song, which is in the vein of their breakout hit Shut Up And Dance, is a modern rock hit with elements of an 80s dance number.
Harmony Hall by Vampire Weekend

Vampire Weekend were gone for six long years, but if Harmony Hall is anything to go by, their hiatus was sure worth the wait. The five-minute-long song, released with the B-side 021, is a warm and welcome return.
