KMA Audio Machines unveils a Desert White edition of its Logan Overdrive
Germany based KMA Audio Machines has unveiled a special Desert White edition of its ultra-versatile Logan Overdrive. This limited run sees just 100 desert-themed dirt boxes made available worldwide.
In addition to the Desert White finish, this special edition of the Logan Overdrive sports a set of matching anodised red knobs.
The Logan Overdrive places emphasis on touch-responsiveness as part of its versatility to work in a variety of setups. It can be deployed as a sweet sounding low- to mid-gain drive; run as a preamp with 25dB of boost; or even used to deliver a myriad of mid-centric tones, from wah-like quacks to slow-phaser-style tones – thanks to its wide mid-EQ range.
A couple of features that help the Logan Overdrive get along with bass guitars sit inside its enclosure: adjustable controls for Clean Blend and Mid-band Q adjustment. Paired with the onboard Expression input, the Logan Overdrive becomes more than just a simple dirt box for electric guitars, as it could be used as a mid-sweeping effect for basses, keyboards and drum machines alike.
