The heavy metal band has brought their tunes to the guitar learning website, to make it easier than ever to play your favourite Metallica songs.
In a statement on their website, the band has said: “Ever want to try your hand at a few of our riffs? Check out Fender Play, as today they launch a new collection including riffs from a few songs you may have heard before!
“Get started with our collection – including ‘Master of Puppets’, ‘Enter Sandman’, ‘Nothing Else Matters’, and riffs from seven other songs – then expand your repertoire as Fender Play adds new songs from a variety of artists weekly!
“Keep your eyes peeled as new songs will be added regularly, and we’ll keep you posted on our socials. Time to dust off that guitar and learn some new riffs!
Fender play is also offering a two-week free trial to new users.
Metallica is not the only partnership that Fender Play has had, as back in 2021 the guitar learning website teamed up with the new Barbie movie to inspire young guitarists to pick up the instrument.
Speaking to Variety about the venture, Fender CMO Evan Jones said: “At Fender, we already work with and support an increasingly wide array of incredibly talented women in music. With that said, we believe it’s important for young aspiring musicians to see themselves in the heroes they look up to. “We want young women to see they can be anything – whether that’s a guitar player, songwriter, producer or any other career – in the music industry.”
