Noel Gallagher puts a dollar value on an Oasis reunion: “I’ll do it for £100m”

While Noel Gallagher has over the past decade baulked at the idea of an Oasis reunion, the 53-year-old has now said he would do it for £100m.

Noel made the comment while appearing on this week’s edition of The Jonathan Ross Show, per Daily Mail.
“If anybody wants to offer me £100m now, I’ll say it now, I’ll do it. I’ll do it for £100m,” he said. It is likely he was alluding to the the claim his brother Liam made in 2020 that Noel turned down £100m for an Oasis reunion.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Noel was asked whether he missed being onstage with his brother, to which he replied: “Not particularly, no. It’s a different band. It’s a different thing.”
“It was all wrapped up in youth and camaraderie and all that. Once that has gone you cannot put that genie back in the bottle. It would just be for showbiz and for a mere paltry £100m.”
The brothers Gallagher have been in a long-standing feud for over 10 years, and while Liam has publicly pined for a reunion on several occasions, Noel has often sung a different tune. Earlier this month, he suggested “Oasis is done” and would never reunite as their legacy was already “set in stone”.
Speaking to Australia’s The Project then, he said: “If people have seen us, they’ll understand what all the fuss is about. If you didn’t see us, then that’s tough because I’ve never seen The Beatles or the Sex Pistols.”
