One of the most notable at the time was the J Rockett Archer, a pedal that’s still going strong in 2025 – however as the years have crept on, prices have crept up – but all that’s been undone for Black Friday.

A brand-new Archer right now may set you back about £200, however for Black Friday at Thomann, the black, limited-edition version of the pedal is just £152 – a hair over what it cost when we first reviewed the pedal in the distant, dusty past of 2015.
