Vintage Guitars unveils new Statesboro “Whisky Sour” acoustic guitars

Over the years, Vintage Guitars’ Paul Brett-designed acoustic line has delivered premium-quality instruments at affordable prices. Brett, a British guitarist and blues historian, has now cooked up the Statesboro “Whisky Sour” range, which comprises acoustics inspired by the budget ‘bluesman’ guitars from the Great Depression.
The “Whisky Sour” acoustics come in three shapes: parlour, orchestra and dreadnought. The latter two are also available in electro-acoustic versions.
The Vintage preampSpecs-wise, Paul Brett’s newly designed guitars feature all-mahogany laminate constructions with satin matt Whisky Sour finishes. The electro-acoustic versions are fitted with a Vintage preamp that boasts a three-band EQ, master volume, phase switch and in-built tuner. Each model also sports chrome tuners, an ABS saddle and a tech wood bridge.
Standard models retail at £99.99 each, while the electro-acoustic models retail at £139 each. More info at jhs.co.uk.
