Watch: Here Comes The Sun gets an emotional new video for Abbey Road’s 50th anniversary
The Beatles have dropped an emotional new video for Here Comes The Sun, as part of the celebrations of Abbey Road’s 50th anniversary.
The video, directed by Alasdair Brotherston and Jock Mooney, combines dreamy animation with vintage photos and footage of the band, all washed in a thin orange haze.
The song, along with the rest of the album, has received a new mix for 2019, from producer Giles Martin and mix engineer Sam Okell. The 50th anniversary boxset version of Abbey Road includes versions in high-resolution stereo, 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos. The extensive tracklist of the set also includes 23 session recordings and demos, most of which are previously unreleased.
