Watch: John Fogerty performs Blueboy at home with his kids

John Fogerty’s latest lockdown performance clip saw the guitarist accompanied by his three kids Shane, Tyler and Kelsy, as they tore through a stripped-back rendition of Blueboy as Fogerty’s Factory. Take a listen below.

Filmed in the control room of Fogerty’s Lost Canyon Studio, the performance of Blueboy comes as the latest in a series of stripped-back performances, which have included renditions of Creedence Clearwater Revival classics Proud Mary and Fortunate Son. Shane and Tyler Fogerty share guitar duties with their father, while Kelsy plays the drums.
The band also announced over YouTube that this would be their last performance video for a while, as “one of the band members, Kelsy is off to college”. However, they reassured fans that the Factory will be back up and running in the near future, with “special plans” to be announced in the coming months.
“We have had so much fun creating these videos,” they wrote. “We hope we could bring some joy into your home from ours.”
“These videos were a labour of love, only produced with a few folks with social distancing and masks included! We were able to create these videos without a big production or overdubs straight from our own home.”
Earlier this May saw the release of a Fogerty’s Factory EP – launched for John Fogerty’s 75th birthday. The record collected some of the group’s early lockdown performances.
