“We believe that every dog deserves the best”: Schecter has just launched a range of dog toys

By now, we’re sure you’ve thought at least once or twice about Christmas presents for your loved ones. And while the guitarist in your life might benefit from one of the best electric guitars, what about your pooch? Well, we might have found the perfect gift in this department…
Schecter has just launched a pair of dog toys sure to keep your pup well and truly occupied this Christmas.

Yep, after recently launching Synyster Gates’ signature 7-string headless model last month, Schecter has opted for a slightly more low-key release this time around.
Named Chompest and Humbarker – with the former recreating a Schecter headstock, and the latter reminiscent of a PAF humbucker (complete with a rope in place of its wiring) these plushies are just ready for your dog to sink its teeth into.
“Each toy is designed in house and rigorously tested by our dogs on staff,” Schecter says. “We believe that every dog deserves the best, and our unique, Schecter dog toys aim to provide hours of entertainment for your best friend. With every strum and every tail wag, we’re dedicated to making a difference in the lives of musicians and their pets.”

You might wonder why Schecter is getting into the world of dog toys, but the guitar company has actually raised money for animal adoption and dog rescue services for over 15 years. Proceeds from these new toys will be donated to local shelters and rescue services.
“What began as a small initiative inspired by our vice president’s love of his adopted boxers has grown into a cornerstone of who we are,” says Schecter. “Our efforts and donations have supported the rehabilitation and rehoming of hundreds of dogs, providing essential resources, medical care, and fostering programs.
“This enduring commitment reflects our belief that, much like music, love and care for animals enriches our lives, creating purpose that resonates far beyond the music industry.”
Price-wise, the Chompest is priced at $17.99, while the Humbarker is $18.99. For more info, head to Schecter.
