Heritage Guitars makes its instruments in the same Kalamazoo, Michigan factory that produced Gibson’s most iconic guitars of the 1950s and beyond, so it should be no surprise that the brand continues to make instruments that pay homage to its classic shapes.

The H-150 is no exception – a part of Heritage’s Custom Core line, it’s the most high-end guitar the modern brand produces, and takes the familiar singlecut body shape, but tweaks it and presents it in a beautiful aged Pelham Blue finish that you certainly don’t see on many Gibsons.
The fundamental elements of the guitar are what you’d expect – a mahogany body with a maple top, the welcome heft that you know and love. There are some subtle cosmetic differences of course, but it looks and feels right.
Under the hood, we get a pair of Heritage’s own 225 Classic P-90s and Custom CTS potentiometers along with Orange Drop .022uF capacitors – this is the very good stuff, and as Guitar.com found out when we reviewed the guitar in 2023, it all comes together in the best way.
