4×2

I build guitars, mostly as a hobby but would like to sell them eventually. I use a 4×2 tuner configuration on most due to ease of straight string routing. When I looked at the EB website I noticed a picture of a headstock with the 4×2 setup stating it was trademarked. Is this referring to the headstock design in total or am I infringing on EB with the 4×2 setup. The headstock itself bears no resemblance to EB’s.
