AX40D vs AX40 pickup routing question

I’ve been looking around for an AX40D model and wanted to confirm one important detail. Was there ever a time period where the AX40D model had the rectangular pickup feet routing like the normal AX40? Or, did all AX40D models have the triangular routing for the feet???
