BG250-210 electrical error known?

In 2014 i bought a BG250-210 combo and loved it. but it took longer time than I would expekt.
in 2015 the amp started “cracking” og making cracking / popping sounds, and it still wouldn’t turn on straight away. I didn’t have and still don’t have a car to drive it to the store, so never got it looked at. after a few months the amp died all together…
the problem was in 2015 and the warranty from the store ran out about a year ago, but is there any chance that this is a known issue with this amp? I am a student and don’t have a lot of money for rep…
Is there anything I can do?
