BH500 question regarding cab pairing
Hello:
I recently purchased a used BH500 head.
From what I understand the actual wattage of this particular amp is 225 watts RMS at 4 ohms but with the Active Power Management technology of TCE, the amp can sound as loud as a 500 watt amp thereby being marketed to produce loudness equal to 500 watts of power.
My question is, if the amp is actually rated at 225 watts RMS @ 4 ohms, would it be safe for me to pair it up with my Eden 210-T cabinet rated at 250 watts RMS @ 4 ohms and if so, would I get sound out of the cab louder than the 250 watts it is rated at ?
