Can you assign a dedicated G System switch to channel change your amp?
Probably a bit of an obvious question, so apologies in advance but ..can you assign say switch number 5 bottom right to be totally dedicated to switching channels on your amp regardless of what bank of effects you are on or what else the G-System is doing. I have a Laney GH50L which has a simple mono jack footswitch to kick in an extra gain stage and would like to be able to control that easily from the G System.
I am thinking of getting a G System again, I had one a few years ago when I had an old single channel Marshall with no effects loop and didn’t really get on with it other than loving the vintage phaser!. The Laney as well as having the gain boost footswitch also does have an effects loop so might work better with the G System.
Also, whilst I am here, if you update the older models with newer software/firmware do you then get the Univibe? You can get one of the older models quite reasonably these days it seems. Thanks!
