Can't get JP6 neck flat

I’m learning how to level and crown my own frets. I experimented with a junk neck to get my feet wet, then moved onto one of my cheapest guitars (less scary to work on that one), and had decent success. Now I need my JP6 back in fighting shape (it’s one of the early JP6’s with the prototype pickups).

I’ve had the strings off for about 3 weeks (been busy), and I finally took the neck off today to start straightening things, but according to my notched straight edge, it just won’t straighten…
