Embarrassing Moment…
I bought my first TC Electronic product today, the Flashback Delay 2. I played with it at the store and really liked the tones I found and bought it. Got home and started to put my new pedalboard together and learned about a whole bunch of cool features of this pedal including the mash feature. So I’m sitting there in my studio, turning knobs and finding awesome tones. But, to my dismay, the mash was not working. I spent two plus hours online trying to figure out what the problem was. Finally, I’m talking to my wife about the problem and start squeezing the pedal in my hand not realizing I was putting more pressure on the pedal. I noticed the light in the corner of my eye and realized, that whole f’n time, the pedal was working fine I just wasn’t pressing the god d*mn pedal hard enough!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! And to boot- this happened after I spent an hour trying to get our new wireless router to work until realizing I accidentally bought a plain-old modem, no WiFi. So that’s my embarrassing story, all happened on my day off which doesn’t come often…
