FIRMWARE Update Issue
Hi, I just got a sentry noise gate 2 days ago and after I tried to update firmware it doesnt turn on anymore, when i connect it to a power supply (voodoo labs). Before the update, pedal was fine, at least it was turning on and off at the press of the button.
So, I followed all the procedures, and the update started fine and all goes smooth untill it reaches 100% and says update is complete. WHile it updates the led flashes green as it should, and after 100% it turns off, and never comes back on again, and the progress graph shows those constant moving bands…..like it reached 100% but is not finished, it is hung…. I dont receive any message to , now turn off or a ok button….. it just hangs at 100% and the pedal doesnt reboot…..
Well… after waiting patiently… i disconnected usb and tried the pedal in normal conditions….It never turns on.But if i do the boot procedure, yeah, it works and the light is green waiting for the update…so it seems to be working, but not turning on alone…some not quite finished. Tone print app, doesnt recognize the pedal anymore….. it did befor firm update.
Can you please help? Otherwise I have to send it back…anything faulty? I compared my package with unbox videos on youtube, and my package did not bring the blue leaflet of product catalogue. IT SHOULD. this leads me to think it could have been tampered with before, and hence not a NEW product……
Any advice would be much appreciated…..I m really annoyed
