Help: Can i date an US SUB Ray without the Serial Sticker?

I got a pretty beaten but well playing SUB4 Ray vor little Money.
in my opinion it´s a real good Bass i like very much. Sadly theres no Sticker with the Serial anymore on
the Headstock.
Is there any Chance to date this Instrument – maybe with Numbers in the electronics?

It´s an early SUB, just with “Musicman S.U.B.” on the headstock(2003 til 04?)
