Help: MM Stingray 5 problem (pickup or preamp)
New to the forum.
I have Stingray 5 ’98 (E02034).
I have been reading this forum for several days trying to find similar problems.
The essence of the problem is as follows:
Of the 3 pickup modes, loudest parallel mode. This mode has hiss. The quietest is single coil mode. When switching between modes, click / pop is heard.
The pickup has a phantom coil. None of the lutiers found any cause for concern. Here is a photo of the wires on the preamp. Grateful for any thoughts or advice. Sorry for my English.
