Help: Neck pick up problem
Hello all,
I have a Stingray HH and I just noticed yesterday that on the bridge pickup, the coil that’s closer to the neck doesn’t work. On any of the other coils, when i tap on the magnets with a screwdriver, I can hear the tap loud and clear through my amp. But on the “bad” coil I don’t hear anything.
I opened the electronics cover and checked with the multimeter and everything seems fine. Then I removed the pickup and measured the resistance and it seems that the “bad” coil is an open circuit.
Do you think there’s anything I can do to fix it or I’m I going for a new pickup?
