Help: Sterling 100d vs musicman mystic dream

sorry if this has been asked before need you guys help.

I have recently sold two guitars and ebay a gibson and ibanez so have quite a bit of money to spend some of which i was thinking of spending to go to the local meet and greet with Satch and John at the G3 gig and getting the guitars signed but that hangs on this really.

I have seen two guitars of varying prices a used JP6 mystic dream from 2001 and new JP100D apart from the obvious differences price and piezo do you think the price difference is warranted and the workmanship is much difference. The used mystic dream is £1400 and the sterling is £550 as it is ex display.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated
