Help: What's up with these pickups (Axis Sport HSS)
Hi all. I am hoping for some kind of clarity here, preferably from someone very familiar with the Axis Sport guitars.
I am considering buying an Axis Sport HSS, but its single-coils have a set of strange screws running through them (see picture).
Is there any chance, it has left the factory like that?
What could the purpose be? To be able to adjust pickup height?
I’m puzzled…
