How hard is it to replace a volume pot on a Majesty?

I seem to have a problem with the volume pot on my brand new Majesty. At least I think it’s the volume pot. I noticed that my piezo pickup works fine but I wasn’t getting any sound out of my magnetic pickups. I played around with the volume pot by turning it and push/pulling it and some combination of those things managed to make it work. But then I turned it again and the sound cut out.
