Known Issue with Majesty Power Board?

My Majesty stopped working last night, and I took it to the local guitar store. He was not able to fix it because it had “a known issue with power board leads.” He recommended that we send to Ernie Ball.
Can anyone give me information on this? And will this be like a car recall? That is will EBMM fix for free?

Also, I have a 7 string Majesty. Will it have the same problem?
