L3 pole piece stuck spinning

New to the forum. Just got a 2019 BFR L3 in Shadow Gold that I’m loving. Was bought new.

I went to adjust the D string pole piece on the bridge and it’s stuck below the pickup…

Any suggestions on how to get it back to normal? First time I ever adjusted the poles. Never had this happen on a guitar before.
