Music Man GS412 Guitar Cabinet 1979?

I just bought a 1979 Music Man Guitar Cabinet, and I have been searching the web for the manual but haven’t found one yet.

I believe it has an output of 600w/8 ohms but I recently read that the cabinet is mono/stereo(2×16 ohms). So does that mean I can run it as a single cab in stereo? Which brings me to my second question: is that what the second input is for (the input with «screw»)?
