New Guitar Day – Steve Morse Dark Lord Y2K

I’m a very infrequent poster here but a fan nevertheless. I picked up a Steve Morse Dark Lord Y2K today, pictured below. According to the serial number, it was made in 2013.

I have a question: some Dark Lords are designated “Ball Family Reserve”, or “BFR”, on the 12th fret. This is not. Is there a difference in materials or anything else (other than the 12th fret notation) between this “Dark Lord” and the BRF Dark Lord?
