NGD: well, FGD…

So being a veteran bassist of over 40 years with 2 Stingrays and a Bongo I got my annual “Happy Birthday from EBMM, GreyDad” email and then look what happened – 2 weeks later and I buy my first ever electric 6-string guitar, a Sterling by Music Man Axis AX3S in white:

I wasn’t thinking about buying a guitar at all when the email came in but there you go – the powers of suggestive marketing. OK, it’s not a BFR or Majesty but it’s cute, sexy, amazing value for money and it’s mine.

Now I have to learn to play the thing – there’s too many strings and they’re all too small… 😀
