Question about Sterling AX40 Tremolo bar

First time poster here. A friend recently acquired a Sterling AX40, which he asked me to set up for him. I really like this guitar and I’m going to see if he’s interested in selling it to me. In any event, the guitar did not come with the tremolo bar. Does anyone know if a standard Floyd Rose bar will work, or does it have to be Sterling?
